During this year’s epidemic prevention and control efforts, Jinxian County in Jiangxi Province has coordinated pandemic response with economic and social development, addressing challenges related to labor, financing, and raw materials, thereby advancing the resumption of work and production in an orderly and effective manner. In a short period, the county has seen significant improvements in the resumption rate of medical device enterprises, the recovery of production capacity, and the employee return-to-work rate.
As the leading medical-device manufacturer in Jinxian County, Hongda Group currently operates 110 production lines for epidemic-prevention supplies, with a daily output of 3 million medical masks. On May 9, upon receiving an order to export surgical masks to France, the company promptly mobilized its workforce, ramped up capacity, and accelerated production to ensure timely completion of the delivery schedule.
According to reports, the China–Europe Railway Express can transport far greater volumes of pandemic‑prevention supplies than conventional cargo aircraft, at a cost roughly 30 times lower than air freight and 10 to 20 days faster than sea shipping. This has effectively reduced exporters’ logistics costs and shortened delivery times.
“The launch of the China–Europe special train for pandemic‑prevention supplies has made our exports much more convenient, allowing us to handle customs clearance locally and opening a streamlined pathway for expanding into international markets,” said Zhu Aizhen, Deputy General Manager of Hongda Group.
